SINGAPORE -- Yesterday was a big night for K-pop as celebs and fans gathered at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong for Korea’s biggest pop music awards show, the Mnet Asian Music Awards (fondly referred to as MAMA).

In its fourth year, MAMA 2015 saw EXO, Girls' Generation and Big Bang take home the biggest gongs and also had performances by SHINee, PSY, CL, MonsterX, BTS, among others, and even a special appearance by English electronic music duo Pet Shop Boys with girlband f(x).

As expected, the stars turned up on the red carpet in their finest. Here are our #2015MAMA faves.

Seeing red

We love it when celebs don't shy away from red. It takes serious guts to pull off the colour, and these leading ladies have our votes for not going down the wallflower route.

Girls' Generation leader, Taeyeon is a red hot siren in this floor-length lace gown.

South Korean actress Han Chae-young looked every bit the screen goddess in this asymmetric slip gown.

Actress Kim Soo-hyun turned the heat a few notches up in this red leather number.

All that jazz

There's no better time than awards season to pull out all the stops. Feathers, pearls, never ending trains, and plenty of drama -- yes, please.

Hong Soo-ah is a heavenly sight to behold in this dramatic all-white corseted gown.

Not many stars can pull off the same two-piece style without looking marmish, but Choo Ja-hyun did it with aplomb.

Nude awakening

Another way to turn heads? Look like you're wearing nothing, but do it tastefully. We're loving how strategically placed flowers and a pair of conversation-starter heels, effortlessly elevated Han Hyo-joo's outfit from blah to wow.

Boys will be boys

Leave it to the K-pop world for the men to outshine the women in the fashion stakes. Major props to these boybands for stealing the show and coveted spots in our best-dressed list.

There's no way we can resist boys in bunny print sweaters. Especially if those sweaters are from Prada Men's Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Thumbs up to EXO for marrying dapper and tongue-in-cheek for all nine members.

Whenever Big Bang makes an appearance, style maestros everywhere sit up and pay attention because these boys never hold back when it comes to being OTT. We like how every member is dressed differently here and stayed true to their individual style.

Oh SHINee, thanks for giving us all major coat envy. We didn't miss the Wild West homage either -- on others, this look would be ridic, but on these guys, it's pure front row worthy.

Black is always 'in', and BTS' all-black ensemble is perfectly on point. Plus points for the group's pastel-coloured hair, so we can tell them apart.
