This is the quintessential example of the phrase, "when you see it."

Many people on the Internet were shocked, horrified and confused when they saw this photo circulating on Twitter earlier this week, namely because the dim lighting and slightly awkward angle makes it seem like the man in the photo seems to be aiming his bare rear end directly at a baby's face.

At first glance, it might be easy to jump to conclusions, which many people did. Because, of course, it's the Internet.

However, if you look a little closer, you will see that the photo is simply a sweet picture of a dad kissing his baby's forehead. Coincidentally, the man has a clean shaven head and isn't wearing a shirt -- hence the confusion.

Most people, happily were able to figure it out after staring at the photo for a good 10 to 30 seconds -- but it's just one of those things that you can't unsee.

The original poster of the photo, Imgur user theyanus, also had to give the photo a lot of thought.

The parents in question are Danielle and Mile Hammel, who are having a nice moment with their baby Lydia. Danielle Hammel told Buzzfeed News that she wasn't sure who was responsible for the photo's sudden viral fame until her dad sent it to her on Facebook.

"Well, [mydad] didn’t think he looked like a butt until he saw himself on Kim Kardashian and now he thinks he looks like a butt," Hammel said.
