March Madness: Facebook's Final Four Winners

This just in: Michigan will beat Syracuse and Louisville will beat Wichita State in the Final Four Saturday to meet in Monday's March Madness championship, where Michigan will take home the title.

Actually, we can't tell the future -- but that is how the Final Four would play out on the basis of Facebook mentions instead of things like defense, rebounding and getting buckets.

The infographic below, which comes straight from Facebook, shows how college basketball's last teams standings have stacked up in popularity on the world's biggest social network since March Madness began two weeks ago.

While Michigan takes home the team crown, it's Louisville guard Kevin Ware who's been far and away the most popular player on Facebook, with an whopping 196,000% increase in mentions during March Madness. Ware if you missed it, suffered one of the most gruesome sports injuries ever seen on live TV against Duke on Sunday and has since become a force of inspiration on the social web.
