Maybe Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio just wanted to have a little chocolate to help get over his not-so-great 5th place finish in Tuesday's primary in New Hampshire.

But this seems to be the week in which Rubio can't have nice things.

Rubio bit into a frozen Twix bar on a flight to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, and cracked his molar.

He told reporters it didn't hurt, but he stopped by a dentist in South Carolina on Thursday to get a temporary filling.

Rubio followed that up with a breakfast of blueberry pancakes, following the dentist's advice to eat soft foods.

“I think I’m getting old, man," Rubio said.
