Habla español? Claro, que si: Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz can.

And he wants to make sure you know, because rival Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio accused him of not being able to speak the language.

Cruz criticized Rubio for immigration statements he had made on Univision, the Spanish-language television channel. Rubio was ready for him.

"I don't know how he knows what I said on Univision, because he doesn't speak Spanish," Rubio said in a sick burn.

But Cruz quickly busted out his Spanish to counter Rubio's point. Cruz retorted sarcastically, in Spanish, "We can do this in Spanish if you like."

Good try for Rubio, but it clearly fell flat.
