Just put Mariah in some red sparkly shoes and call her Dorothy -- because it looks like she's finding a home in Oz. Well, almost.
The singer released her new single "Almost Home," featured on the soundtrack of the highly anticipated Disney film Oz: The Great and Powerful, on Tuesday. The song highlights the 43-year-old's signature high-octave voice that made her a star almost two decades ago.
The song was produced by Norwegian pair Stargate with Carey co-writing and co-producing. The singer's last album was "Merry Christmas II You" in 2010, but she is set to release another album this spring.
The upbeat tune references a magician's journey that finds him a new home in a mystical place. James Franco, Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams star in the film, which opens in theaters on March 8.
