Mariah Carey is an elusive chanteuse, even when it comes to her own kid.
The singer was accepting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Aug. 5 when Moroccan, Carey's 4-year-old son, decided he wanted in on the spotlight too. While Carey was posing with her star, Moroccan casually laid on top of her legs, making himself comfortable on the red carpet.
But in the cutthroat world of Hollywood, one minute you're in -- and the next you're out. Since photographers probably needed at least one shot of Carey with Moroccan-less legs, one of the star's handlers (presumably?) picked the toddler up and carried him away. The incident was captured in a Vine that will probably go down in history.

Moroccan struggles to stay in the shot, screaming and grabbing for his mom, as toddlers are wont to do. Carey watches them take him away, quickly turning back to the cameras like a professional.
But can you really blame her? You only get a ceremony like this once, dahhhling.
