Elderly couple denied extra teabag at Marks & Spencer, Facebook commenters lose it

LONDON -- It's no secret that the power of a good cup of tea is unparalleled, so when a Marks & Spencer employee in Ireland told two pensioners that they couldn't have an extra teabag to perfect their thirst-quenching brew, it's safe to say that they were a little bit miffed.

Marie Ni Bhroin, daughter of the elderly couple who were subject to Marks & Spencer's horrifying rule, took to Facebook to express her distaste. Perhaps she was just looking for an apology from the retailer, but instead she got an onslaught of online support from a nation famed for their love of tea.
