Marriage equality is a serious and controversial issue, but leave it to the Internet to bring a dose of levity.

The Human Rights Campaign's pink and red version of its logo spread across Facebook on Tuesday as the U.S. Supreme Court began hearing arguments in two same-sex marriage cases. Never missing the opportunity to parody the news, Facebook and Tumblr users began creating their own, less weighty versions of the image.
