These Marshmallow Peeps are not giving away their shot at Hamilton fame.
Kate Ramsayer, Helen Fields and Joanna Church are Broadway fans with a penchant for Easter candy. As an entry for Washington Post Peeps Diorama Contest, the women decided to give an homage to Broadway's biggest hit -- Hamilton.
This is the second year the group has entered the contest, and their inspired idea didn't come until the last minute.
"We realized the deadline was coming up because my mom tore the notice out of the newspaper a couple of weeks ago, but we didn't have an idea," Fields told Mashable in an email. "The day after the Hamilton cast performed the first scene live on the Grammys, Kate sent an email that just said 'Alexander Hamilpeep.'"
That's when a beautiful creation was born.
For those of you who haven't been able to get tickets to Hamilton -- like everyone else in the world -- please enjoy the following performance of 'Alexander Hamilpeep'.
Probably better than Broadway, though we'll never know because tickets are likely sold out until the year 4016.
