Last time we checked in on Martin Shkreli, he was in handcuffs thanks to charges of securities fraud.

Since freed, Shkreli has apparently kept busy, finding the time to spit some rhymes, give an interview -- as well as lose his CEO role at two different pharmaceutical companies.

On Sunday, Shkreli sat with Fox's New York affiliate for his first major interview since being arrested. Shkreli first came into the public consciousness in September 2015 when a New York Times article drew attention to his company's purchase of a drug used by AIDS patients, which he subsequently jacked up the price of.

[seealso slug=http://sale-online.click/2015/12/17/martin-shkreli-arrested/%5D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESince then, he has become something of a media pariah, drawing widespread mockery and condemnation. Shkreli has at times played into his new role as society's example of what not to be when you grow up by giving a variety of interviews in which he alternately challenges people to stop him and makes lewd comments about female celebrities.

Other times he has played the victim, trying to act like he's just caught up in something bigger. That's the Shkreli that showed up for the Fox interview.

"I'm not a 'pharma bro', right?" he asks, then launching into an explanation for the now infamous pic of him in sunglasses that helped spawn the label.

If it seems like Shkreli might be ready to step out of the limelight, think again. Shkreli said on Twitter that he has a mixtape that could drop on Wednesday. The pharma bro turned MC often references his love for hip hop, and recently bought the Wu-Tang Clan's one-of-a-kind album for $2 million.

We'll believe it when we hear it, which is something we hope doesn't happen.

I may or may not be dropping a mix tape on Wednesday. #staytuned— Martin Shkreli (@MartinShkreli) January 17, 2016
