LOS ANGELES -- It’s been 31 years since the first Terminator film introduced us to the concept of Skynet — a terrifying self-aware artificial intelligence network that wants us all dead.

Back then, the idea was just part of the sci-fi fantasy. But Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney and other stars of Terminator Genisys, the 5th film in the iconic series, have a little more perspective on the matter in 2015.

Mashable entertainment editor Josh Dickey was on the steel-gray carpet for the Terminator: Genisys premiere on Sunday evening in Hollywood, and asked the cast and crew about whether we should be worried about the machines rising up against us.

The answers ranged from "we've got bigger problems right now" (Clarke) to something along the lines of "run for your lives" (Courtney).

What do you think about the prospects for a war against the machines? Let us know in the comments.
