Report: Mashable Readers More Web Savvy than Nielsen Respondents

This morning we received some stats from Nielsen Online about online holiday shopping that asked a remarkably similar question to the one we asked in our weekend poll. Given the slow holiday news cycle, we decided to do a quick comparison.

The good news: Mashable readers are way more Web savvy than those pedestrians that Nielsen interviews :) Take a look:

As for some other findings of the Nielsen survey, convenience appears to be what drives people to shop online as opposed to price. 81 percent of respondents cite the ability to shop anytime of day as the main reason they shop online, while 77 percent also cited saving time. Meanwhile, just 46 percent indicated that lower prices were a driving factor.

Nielsen also asked respondents about their satisfaction with various retailers. The results:
