For the third time in the game show's history, a Wheel of Fortune contestant has won at least $1 million.

Sarah Manchester, a Maryland resident, raked in $1,017,490 after solving the final puzzle on Wednesday's show, with her answer of "Loud Laughter."

"What a way to start off a season," said host Pat Sajak as Manchester gasped, "Oh my god, I can't believe it." Her family, including her husband, two children and father, rushed the stage and hugged her as confetti rained down.

When Sajak asked the math teacher what she thought about the probability of her winning $1 million, she said it was low, but added some words of optimism.

"Even unlikely events sometimes happen," Manchester said.

In May 2013, a California woman also hit the million-dollar mark.
