There are endless opportunities for humans to be the worst while commuting on public transportation, but letting your rabbit chill on the seat is a new one.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Police shared a photo on Saturday morning, reminding its passengers that having your rabbit outside of its carrier on the seat is not OK.

#MBTA Etiquette:please keep your rabbits inside their carrier while traveling on the T. Thank you pic.twitter.com/b2Vdda4csP— MBTA Transit Police (@MBTATransitPD) November 7, 2015

Most agreed with the MBTA on this one, but not without cracking a few jokes and taking a couple jabs at the agency's inability to keep the T running last winter.

@MBTATransitPD I can understand that, but I'd bet that rabbit acts better than some of the humans who ride the T.— Lizabeth S. Tucker (@LizabethSTucker) November 7, 2015

Either way, consider yourselves lucky, Boston. In June Gothamist reported a pet snake out of its carrier on the New York City Subway.

We'll take the bunny any day.
