You wear it like a temporary tattoo, but it's certainly for more than just style. A company has developed an electronic sensor that attaches like a "second skin" to your body and monitors your health.
Originally crafted for sports physicians, company MC10 designed a microchip that can now be printed directly on the skin. The bond to the health sensor is formed with spray-on bandage material you might find in stores.

Since it's bound directly to the skin, the "epidermal electronics" can detect things like the temperature of the wearer and hydration levels.
MC10's sensor is one-thirtieth the size of previous sticker designs and is so thin it can withstand activities like showering and swimming. The tiny mesh of circuits lasts on your skin for two weeks, until it's naturally exfoliated. Check out the video above to see the biometric sensor in action.
