Jon Stewart had some fun last night on The Daily Show with Sen. Mitch McConnell's corny new wordless political advertisement. True to his muckraking style, Stewart made a little game out of it called #McConnelling.

The first 12 seconds of the ad features nothing but smiles from Kentucky's senator. Stewart's team replaced the generic track playing in the video with their own music choices. First, he set McConnell's countenance to "The Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel. Then he upped the ante to "Behind Blue Eyes" by The Who. The mashup escalated to Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back," which ultimately left Stewart in hysterics.

Of course, an idea this ripe for parody couldn't stop there, so Stewart issued a call to action, asking the Internet to attach a song of their own choosing to McConnell's strange ad, using the hashtag #McConnelling.

The response was both swift and hilarious. From "Gangnam Style" to "The Circle of Life," it seems almost any song juxtaposed perfectly with McConnell's ad.
