Your late-night food experiments are hitting the McDonald's menu... again.
In the tradition of gray hamburger buns and avocado toast, McDonald's Japan is introducing a new novelty item that can't quite decide between a place on the dollar menu or the dessert menu: French fries drizzled with two kinds of chocolate sauce.
Everybody has a sweet and a salty side. Now, with McChoco Potato, you don’t have to choose! https://t.co/HWDu1wx2Iy pic.twitter.com/zw51h7tUz9— McDonald's (@McDonaldsCorp) January 19, 2016
The McChoco Potatoes are the restaurant's signature salty fries with both white and milk chocolate. The concoction will hit participating Japanese McDonald's restaurants starting Jan. 26, but only for a limited time.
There's no telling whether the new item will be coming to the United States, so if you're salivating over these but don't live in Japan, you'll just have to settle for a DIY version.
