The guys over at Meebo were anxious to see how the chat tool worked on the iPhone and were sad to see some rather large roadblocks in the way of launching the Meebo service on the mobile device. So for those of you that have noticed a few bugs with the Meebo service on your iPhone, rest assured that the biggest kinks have now been worked out.
First up, the bug preventing you from launching an instant message window by tapping on a friend in your buddy list has now been taken care of. And when you've begun conversing with your friends in the instant message window, you can now hit "Enter" to send the message as well. We're sure to see a lot of this: company's team members having rushed to the nearest Apple store to get an iPhone only to find that a few things don't quite work correctly. The focus of developers has been somewhat shifted to concentrating on the iPhone, ensuring that their service runs smoothly on the most anticipated device of the year.
As if any of us really need an excuse to get an iPhone.
