The Daily Poll: Is Meebo Worth $250 Million?

Another rumored big web 2.0 valuation has spurred more talk of whether or not we’re currently in a bubble. This time, it’s Meebo, who according to VentureBeat is seeking a new round of investment that would value the company at $250 million. To its credit, Meebo, which provides web-based access to IM, as well as its own development platform, is attracting around 29 million unique visitors each month, making it one of the larger startups that we track.

But recent valuations in the space have been met with a lot of skepticism from both commentators and our readers. Here are the results from a couple of polls we ran recently asking about the valuations of Slide ($550 million) and Facebook ($15 billion):
