MeFeedia, an edited online video repository, has apparently raised a $250k angel round from investors who wish to remain anonymous. MeFeedia gets their content from a purported 15,000 video sites (I didn't know there were that many sites out there, but it doesn't sound too surprising). These sites include places like Hulu to YouTube on down to individual podcasts like Boing Boing and other individual podcasts.

The service they're debuting with the news of the funding is their video search function, which they officially dub "Video Search & Discovery."

"Video Search needs context and "social awareness" to truly succeed," he said. "This is at the core of our video search."
