Oy with the poodles already.

Melissa McCarthy may have humble Stars Hollow origins, but when Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino expressed her desire to bring Sookie St. James back for a cameo in the revival coming to Netflix as a four-episode miniseries, McCarthy had a succinct response.

Thanks for the invite, but sadly no one asked me or Sookie to come back to Stars Hollow. Wish them all the best!! https://t.co/II2Atug4wx— Melissa McCarthy (@melissamccarthy) February 2, 2016

Sherman-Palladino told TVLine that she would love to bring Sookie back for the show's four-episode Netflix run, but expressed anxiety about McCarthy's hectic filming schedule.

Sounds like she might have been too busy to even get the invite. McCarthy stars in the all-female remake of Ghostbusters that hits theaters on July 15.
