The polite thing to do when you are someone's guest is to show up swathed in fabric bearing their likeness.

The delightful Melissa McCarthy did just that when she stopped by The Daily Show to promote her new movie, Spy, wearing a dress digitally printed with Jon Stewart's face on it.

McCarthy told Stewart that her sartorial choice for the evening was influenced by her sadness over the longtime Daily Show host's departure from the show. And yes, it's custom, so once again you cannot have the cool dress you saw on a celebrity in your own closet.

The gracious host kindly offered to stop by McCarthy's home to give his take on the news for her and her husband, actor Ben Falcone, while they wear matching Jon Stewart kimonos.

McCarthy debuted her outfit of the day on her brand new Instagram account, which will certainly display more impressive fashions in the future.
