The last Monday of May is Memorial Day in the U.S. -- a day meant to honor those who have fallen in battle.
While Monday is the official day of remembrance, parades, gatherings and re-enactments have taken place all weekend. There were moments commemorating the Civil War, which ended 150 years ago, as well as more recent conflicts.
