MetaCafe has launched its Facebook application, giving you another way to view and share videos on Facebook.
With this app you can watch video clips from MetaCafe, grab the embed code, email them to a friend, and leave comments. You can easily choose a friend to share the clip with as a short list of your friends are displayed along the sidebar for this app. There's also the option of filtering through videos based on the Facebook networks you're a member of, as well as seeing which clips are the most popular with your friends, or all of Facebook. Add clips to your playlist to display your favorites on your profile page. There's no integration of your MetaCafe account for this app, which is an unfortunate limitation for the sharing of video clips.
In other MetaCafe news, the video-sharing site has recently launched personalized channel options.
