No power? No problem -- this charger's got you covered.
Newport Beach, Calif.-based tech company MetAir recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for what it's saying is the most powerful portable charger on the market.
The MetAir Solstice carries a charging power equivalent to about 115 D cell batteries. Inside the four-pound device is a disposable zinc-air battery power cartridge -- ideal for keeping your electronics charged during extended periods without power, the company says.
The Solstice has three USB ports on its top and can supply 20 full charges to an iPhone 5. Additionally, it can provide five full charges to an iPad 3 and about six hours of LED room lights for almost two weeks.
You can purchase new batteries through MetAir's website for $49 once they run out of juice. At time of writing, the Solstice was $4,791 into its goal of $179,000. There are 25 days remaining to donate.
