MetaRADAR Launches Universal Media Application

MetaRADAR has launched what it calls the world’s first “MediaMasher” application, aiming to combine all of a user’s rich media content on a single platform. The idea is that content from hundreds of different sources, ranging from videos to news to social networks, can all be access from one application with a set of universal features. For example, seeing videos from your favorites sites, and being able to favorite them or send a link to a friend without leaving MediaMasher.

Additionally, as a hosted application, users can access their media from all of their different computers, as well as by mobile device. Essentially, MediaMasher sounds like a next generation RSS reader that pulls in content from much more than RSS feeds. The application is currently available for Internet Explorer users and launches officially this week at DEMOfall.
