UK-based MetaWeather is a new weather aggregation tool - it brings together weather forecasts from multiple sources (Weather.com and the BBC appear to be the major ones) and calculates the most likely outcome. The site then provides a "predictability" rating based on how much the sources agree. MetaWeather also provides tools to graph temperatures, windspeed, humidity, air pressure and visibility. You can subscribe to any location via RSS or Atom and build related services on top of the REST-based API. The service was created by a two-man team - Jason Cartwright and Luke Guttridge of Ferrago.

The number of locations is limited right now (apart from the UK, which is well represented), but it's a neat little tool that's fun to use. Obviously there's no defensibility with this kind of model, but I get the sense that MetaWeather is a fun side project, rather than a business venture.
