The two great music video trends of 2015 finally combined Monday, when M.I.A. released a girl gang clip exclusively on a music streaming platform.

M.I.A. premiered the short film she directed, "Matahdatah Scroll 01 Broader Than a Border," on Apple Music today. The video features a new song called "Swords" as well as "Warriors" from her 2013 album, Matangi.

The audiovisual project was shot in West Africa and India. It features locals dancing and Maya herself hanging out in the bed of a truck, whipping her hair back and forth, as cool girls do.

Pitchfork reports that "Swords" will be featured on M.I.A.'s forthcoming album, Matahdatah.
