Tomáš Werner has always been drawn to photography. But he never thought his first photo book would be about a dog.

Werner met Q during a temporary stint in Miami, Florida. The little Pomeranian belonged to his roommate, but it was Werner and Q who became the best of friends.

"[I met Q] when I was in between 'real' jobs," Werner told Mashable. "It didn't take long before I started photographing him."

"Q would be eager to pose," he added. "It almost seemed like he was waiting to be photographed."

Using colorful Art Deco Miami as his backdrop, Werner snapped more than a dozen shots of Q, mostly with the pup perched atop a pedestal. "The backdrops are varied," Werner said, "but the stylized buildings and the Florida sun add a uniformity to the images."

Looks like Q has a few shots for his model portfolio.
