The video premiered today on indie music/girls/random stuff website Street Boners and TV Carnage, which was founded, in part, by one of Gawker's "Hipsters of the Decade," Gavin McInnes.
The question now becomes: Will this D.I.Y.-esque appearance cause the Cera backlash to abate? Or will it just smack of trying too hard to go back to his more alternative roots?
Regardless, "No You Don't" is actually a pretty intriguingly synthed-out song, and the actor's participation in the made-for-web-tv project is sure to garner it tons of attention. (I'm guessing, however, that the dudes in Islands would rather folks be talking about their musical prowess than Cera's ubiquitous hoodie or predilection for Jersey Shore.)
