For the low starting price of $20,000, you can own a piece of musical history.

A white sequined glove worn by Michael Jackson is being put up for auction by artist Paul Bedard. The auction will take place at the Nate D. Sanders auction house on July 30.

Jackson gave the glove to Bedard, who was a friend, as a gift. The singer once commissioned Bedard to create paintings of famous pop culture and historical figures wearing the white, sequined glove -- one of Jackson's most famous signature looks -- to decorate the walls of his Neverland Ranch.

The winner of the auction will receive the glove, as well as some of Bedard's paintings made for Jackson and a photo of Bedard wearing the glove.

As far as iconic MJ gloves go, $20,000 is kind of a steal. The white sequined glove the singer wore when he debuted his moonwalk in 1983 sold back in 2009 for $420,000, though it was only estimated to sell for around $40,000 to $60,000.

That same year, one of Bedard's paintings commissioned by Jackson sold for $53,125 in an auction. It sure does pay to be a friend to the King of Pop.
