Eight-year-old Peter is already very politically aware. Certainly as far as condiments are concerned.

As part of Michelle Obama's guidelines for school lunches, kids are limited to one packet of ketchup per meal, which Peter believes to be a direct attack on his freedom.

The Weekly Standard published Peter's letter, which reports he began the note in 2014 but was too angry to finish until recently.

"I think you should rethink your idea that takes us to one ketchup packet per meal," Peter implores the First Lady in the letter. "I feel that it is taking away our patriotism toward America."

Peter's beef isn't solely directed at FLOTUS, though. He goes on to criticize her husband's speeches and his stance on ISIS.

But his issues with the Obamas are purely political, not personal. Peter wraps things up by asking if the White House is comfortable, which is very thoughtful of him.

The kicker: Peter attends private school, so Michelle Obama's school lunch guidelines don't even apply to him. He just cares a lot.
