Geography pro-tip: Micronesia is a series of small islands in the Pacific Ocean east of the Philippines, while Palau and Nauru are islands geographically part of Micronesia but politically separate. Bonus trivia: Nauru is the world's smallest republic, with less than 10,000 residents.
