But don't get excited quite yet, because for now, it is only for developers and businesses — consumers are gonna have to wait. It's important to keep in mind that the HoloLens is almost the opposite of virtual reality. While VR cuts you off from the outside world, the HoloLens enhances your world, creating what's sometimes called “mixed reality.”
