We may not know exactly what Microsoft's launch event in Los Angeles Monday is going to be about yet, but we finally have a location: Milk Studios.
Describing itself as "one of the world's premiere photography studios," and based in both New York and LA, Milk is a popular choice with the tech cognoscenti. Its New York location was the venue for Sean Parker's recent launch of his video chat service, Airtime.
The invite is scant on details, but does offer this nugget: "Limited video and still photography opportunities will be available after a main presentation." That, presumably, presages something very visual.
The Airtime launch at Milk NY was a star-studded one, with celebrities such as Jim Carrey and Jimmy Fallon touting the service -- but it was also an awkward one, with many technical issues and missed cues.
