Microsoft's online collaboration space for Office users, where they can store, exchange and share their documents, now has one million users. We went through the most interesting features of Office Live Workspace when the beta opened up to everyone, and it is a solid effort. Its biggest advantage is the fact that it integrates into new Office products, which means that it's very easy for Office users to start using it.
This milestone is an opportunity for Microsoft to bless us with some marketingese. “The pace at which people are signing up for the beta tells us that they are looking for ways to resolve the complexities of their work, school and home projects through a range of choices,” said Kirk Gregersen, director of consumer and small-business product management for Microsoft Office.
