Kevin Johnson, president of Microsoft’s Platforms and Services Division (a.k.a., Windows and Windows Live), in a letter (published by CNET) to Microsoft employees following the company’s release of a memo delineated its active consideration of “new alternatives for a transactions with Yahoo,” today offered some insight into what observers might expect hear in the week ahead concerning any prospective partnership or purchase.
