"What'd you do last night, Miley?" asks Billy Ray Cyrus. "Oh, well I sang a Johnny Cash cover wearing giant butterfly wings, some white tights, elbow length metallic pink gloves and butterfly-shaped pasties covering my nipples," Miley replies in her husky voice, "kind of boring night." "Sounds great, honey," Billy Ray says in his southern drawl, feigning interest in his daughter's latest exploits.

Or, that is a conversation that could have taken place between the two most famous members of the Cyrus family today. The younger Cyrus spent the evening of May 13 just being Miley while she performed at the Adult Swim Upfront After Party in New York City.

The evening celebrated the new television shows Adult Swim will be premiering in the upcoming months and, presumably, drugs. It makes sense that Miley partnered with Cartoon Network's weirder cousin considering that singing with Ariana Grande in a unicorn onesie on an inflatable neon couch and making bondage videos is how Miley enjoys spending her time these days.

"Are you guys drunk yet? Are you guys high yet?” she reportedly asked the crowd, according to The Huffington Post, “No?! You’re gonna be at a show where I’m dressed as a fucking butterfly and not be high? I’m down to share.”

The winged pop star performed an enthusiastic cover of Khia's very NSFW hit, "My Neck, My Back".

Vulture reports that Cyrus also covered "A Boy Named Sue" written by Shel Silverstein and made famous by Johnny Cash, "A Day in the Life" by the Beatles and "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" by Led Zeppelin.

Cyrus did not perform a cover of Crazy Town's 1999 hit, "Butterfly", which is a huge missed opportunity.

She did, however, debut a new song called "Tiger Dreams" written with the Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne accompanied by some balloons.
