The blocky world of 'Minecraft' is coming to virtual reality

Soon, you'll be able to chop down trees, build houses and battle creepers in an immersive reality.

Minecraft's Windows 10 Edition will have Oculus Rift support -- meaning that the game will work seamlessly with the VR headset when it comes out next screen.

Oculus Rift creator Palmer Luckey announced Minecraft's Oculus Rift version at the Oculus Connect developers conference in Los Angeles Thursday. While there were few details revealed, Minecraft will be available on both the Oculus Store and the Windows 10 store with Oculus integration next year.
