Today Minggl is joining a growing number of services geared towards the U.S. presidential election. In combination with its new Facebook application, comments made towards Obama or McCain can be seen by Minggl users on the candidates' respective websites.

Minggl's new Facebook application, called the Political Wall, lets you vote for one candidate or the other, leave a comment explaining why you voted that way, and invite others to do the same. There's a comment wall that will appear in your Facebook profile, where you and your friends can debate the upcoming presidential election, and Minggl will also display these running comments on Obama and McCain's websites for users that have the Minggl toolbar installed. Users can then vote on the comments, so the most popular will rise to the top.

Minggl is a content aggregator in its own right, providing a central location for consuming Web content, creating an individualized browsing experience, and sharing this content with others in a controlled, distributive manner. The new Facebook application highlights Minggl's capabilities across its core competencies, and should gain enough attention, given its focus on politics.
