LONDON -- For 60 seconds on Friday at noon, people across Britain united in silence to pay tribute to the victims of the Tunisia beach attack, in which 38 people -- including 30 Britons -- died.

Queen Elizabeth II and British Prime Minister David Cameron were among those who observed the minute's silence, seven days after the gun attack, which also left dozens wounded.

Play was delayed at Wimbledon, flags were lowered to half-mast, and relatives and friends of the victims gathered together to honour those who lost their lives.
