Miro, the Internet television community formerly known as Democracy TV, has released some major updates to its Public Preview 2, version 0.9.9.

The updates are mostly bug fixes, but some good features are layered in there as well. The big changes include the menus for OPML import and export for sharing your channel lists, as well as the ability to return to the last place you were at in the Miro Guide when you navigate away from the page. Adding an alternate channel guide now displays the name and icon for that site, and single file downloads are now supported.

Some new options have been added to the search engine, including Mefeedia, Yahoo and Yahoo Video, while Veoh, which was just included in the last update, has been temporarily removed due to compatibility issues. Translations have also been update, and an automatic error reporting feature has been added. That about covers it for new features. The rest of the updated version comprises of bug fixes, which are happily welcomed as well.
