Mitsubishi: Futuristic Dashboard Ready Within a Decade [VIDEO]

Mitsubishi showed off its futuristic concept car called Emirai at the 2011 Tokyo Car Show. The car has a curved, rear-projection display and 3D technology, among other features, including a safety system that uses biometrics.

"This car embodies a concept for about 10 years from now," the company said. "Its main feature is the display. For the instrument panel in the center, which has only been a flat LCD until now, what we suggest is using rear projection, so the display surface can be freely curved, for more effective design."
