Quick Pitch: Mojiva is the simplest mobile advertising platform that marketers can use to reach customers on the mobile web.

Genius Idea: We know that the future of online ads is unavoidable (and most likely social), but with the prevalence of mobile phones, mobile ad networks are becoming viable and must-have utilities for content producers and product pushers alike. Mojiva's attacking the mobile ad platform with simple self-service tools and metrics for publishers and advertisers.

As a publisher, you can pick your platform (mobile web, iPhone site or app, or Android), add mobile site information, opt to manually approve ads, select preferred categories and channels, and then grab the appropriate code to add to your site. Just keep in mind that when you first add a site, moderation takes 24 to 48 hours.

Once you've gone through the setup process, you can then turn to Mojiva for robust tracking of mobile ad impressions and clicks. The statistics portion of the site lets you filter based on hours, days, and months, to break down impressions, clicks, and click-through rates. You can also get a glimpse of total views, total clicks, total impressions, geographic statistics, transaction history, and even export reports to CSV. Plus if you're managing multiple sites, you can get an overview of all activity from your dashboard.

On the flip side, advertisers can create new text, graphic, or iPhone ads, target them to specific audiences and channels, set prices, and specify a schedule. Advertisers can also preview and customize their ads as they work, and even get the same detailed insight (just like publishers) when it comes to campaign metrics.

Interesting enough, Mojiva's only been around for 8 months, but they've already served over a billion ads. That's still relatively small compared to mobile ad leaders like AdMob, but an impressive start for the service.
