Even Molly Ringwald wants to be Taylor Swift's friend

Taylor Swift's club is apparently hotter than the breakfast club.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of The Breakfast Club, Molly Ringwald appeared at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards and introduced Simple Minds, who performed the movie's hit song "Don't You Forget About Me."

But the performance was quickly overshadowed by Ringwald begging Taylor Swift to let her into her girl club.

Taylor, being the benevolent queen and friend collector she is, immediately obliged and let Ringwald into her coven. The two could be spotted dancing together within seconds.

The friendship is a logical choice for Taylor, who is super into the '80s right now.
