This takes mother-daughter bonding to a whole new level.
When Morgan Brechler hikes mountains or repels down rocks, her three-year-old daughter, Hadlie, comes along, often strapped to her back.
"I want Hadlie to appreciate life and I don't think there's any better way for her to learn, grow and have gratitude than to be friends with Mother Earth," Brechler told the Daily Mail.
Hadlie, who has her her share of harness help--and pacifier breaks--also does some free climbing and even paints atop tall peaks, according to pictures on Brechler's Instagram account.

The pair have already been on adventures in several national parks, including the Grand Canyon and Joshua Tree, according to the Daily Mail. They've also hiked around Mexico and Hawaii, and Hadlie has been doing indoor climbing since she was 18 months old. The duo even have a rock-climbing wall in their house.

Brechler, a 25-year-old agriculture and horticulture student, is not alone in her quest to instill a love of nature in her daughter. Brechler and two other mothers are part of a documentary project called Born Wild that aims to explore the lives of three women trying to balance motherhood and a love for adventure.
