Look, nature is beautiful and miraculous or whatever but metamorphosis is gross.
If you disagree, take a look at this timelapse of a monarch caterpillar attaching its butt to a leaf, exploding its body into a cocoon and then wriggling its way out as a long-legged thing with wings. Just totally nasty stuff.
