Here they come ... 50 years later.

The Monkees -- the greatest fake band ever assembled for a madcap TV show -- will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the series this summer with a new album, titled Good Times!, and a lengthy North American tour kicking off May 18 in Fort Myers, Florida, Rolling Stone reported Friday.

Good Times!, produced by Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne), will be comprised of new original songs, including tracks written in the 1960s that were never recorded and the late Davy Jones singing a cover of Neil Diamond's "Love to Love" that was recorded in the '60s.

The June 10 release will also feature many guests including Noel Gallagher, Rivers Cuomo, Ben Gibbard and more.

This is the version of The Monkees featuring original members Mickey Dolenz and Peter Tork, but not Mike Nesmith, who briefly toured with them from 2011 to 2014. But he's "always invited," Micky Dolenz tells Rolling Stone, "and at times he has blessed us with his presence ... I sure hope he does show up at some point and sing a couple of songs with us."

"Peter (Tork, below right) and I do a lovely acoustic portion of the show, like we're sitting around a campfire. Our vocal blend has become very, very interesting," Dolenz told Rolling Stone.
