How to Get MoodBox
Here’s how MoodBox works. First, download their free app (Windows only at this time) to get started. You’ll go through a quick setup wizard, and in less than thirty seconds you’ll see your MoodBox dashboard. Note: You'll also need an invite - we have 500 of them, which you can access here.
Illustrate Your MoodBox
Your options here are fairly basic. You can draw your own image, select from a variety of clipart, or upload your own image (and proceed to draw all over it, if you want).
MoodBox MoodStrips
If you feel like publishing longer than one panel, you can with MoodBox’s MoodStrips. These are simply individual MoodBox illustrations linked to one another when you decide to publish.
I’ve Drawn a MoodBox, Now What?
MoodBoxes and MoodStrips can be published pretty much anywhere: your personal site, blog, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, FriendFeed, etc. Once you finish your MoodBox (don’t let my masterpieces above intimidate you), just hit Publish and you’ll get a direct URL and an embed code for quick and easy sharing.
The MoodBox Community
Once you get the hang of drawing and publishing your MoodBox images, explore the MoodBox user community and start adding friends – or use your email Rolodex to populate your own friend list.
